My first major problem was that I had no 'directoutputconfig.ini' file. Here is the process I followed: I installed latest version of DOF and DOFlinx. So can someone help me- how do I get the DMD to stay over the top of the B2S background in borderless window mode? Or alternatively, can I get FX3 to stop freezing in fullscreen mode? After reading a little on this issue it was suggested that I try 'Borderless Window' mode and indeed this stopped the freezing BUT the background covers the DMD! (I can alt-tab back to windows and the DMD then shows up but I would like the DMD to stay on top of the background).

However, I have a problem! If I play Pinball FX3 in Fullscreen mode then as soon as DOFLinx gets the B2S server to load the background, FX3 freezes and won't accept any input to navigate through the menus. So I'll start off by saying a massive thank you to DDH69 for all your hard work! I got the animated backglasses working in Pinball FX3 with a 2-screen setup (no toys or LED's etc.) and I'm going to describe below what I did to get it working.
